Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare , Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST: SHBa ), which rose 2.20% or 2.90 points to trade at 134.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST: GETIb ) added 1.67% or 3.60 points to end at 219.80 and Nordea Bank Abp (ST: NDASE ) was up 1.32% or 1.80 points to 137.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST: SBBb ), which fell 2.81% or 0.12 points to trade at 4.22 at the close. Evolution AB (ST: EVOG ) declined 1.34% or 11.20 points to end at 822.60 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST: HEXAb ) was down 1.09% or 1.40 points to 126.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 445 to 321 and 70 ended unchanged.
Shares in Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST: SHBa ) rose to 5-year highs; up 2.20% or 2.90 to 134.45. Shares in Nordea Bank Abp (ST: NDASE ) rose to all time highs; rising 1.32% or 1.80 to 137.90.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.14% or 1.55 to $70.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 2.00% or 1.53 to hit $74.95 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 4.50 to trade at $2,951.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.31% to 11.12, while USD/SEK rose 0.14% to 10.64.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 106.59.
