Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology , Consumer Services and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.09% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST: SBBb ), which rose 2.06% or 0.08 points to trade at 4.07 at the close. Meanwhile, Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST: KINVb ) added 1.10% or 0.90 points to end at 78.80 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST: SEBa ) was up 1.01% or 1.55 points to 155.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST: HMb ), which fell 0.85% or 1.20 points to trade at 139.50 at the close. Volvo, AB ser. B (ST: VOLVb ) declined 0.79% or 2.10 points to end at 264.70 and Sandvik AB (ST: SAND ) was down 0.68% or 1.40 points to 203.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 393 to 369 and 64 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.14% or 1.25 to $57.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.89% or 1.16 to hit $60.13 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 2.37% or 76.81 to trade at $3,320.11 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.47% to 10.94, while USD/SEK rose 0.33% to 9.67.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 99.69.
