Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance , Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.84%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE: BIG ), which rose 4.53% or 2,450.00 points to trade at 56,480.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Menora Miv Hld (TASE: MMHD ) added 4.47% or 840.00 points to end at 19,640.00 and Harel (TASE: HARL ) was up 4.22% or 265.00 points to 6,550.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Strauss Group (TASE: STRS ), which fell 1.00% or 88.00 points to trade at 8,737.00 at the close. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE: ESLT ) declined 0.56% or 760.00 points to end at 135,560.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE: TSEM ) was up 0.07% or 10.00 points to 14,440.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 334 to 113 and 91 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.31% or 0.19 to $61.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.36% or 0.23 to hit $63.98 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.87% or 29.46 to trade at $3,365.04 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.88% to 3.56, while EUR/ILS fell 1.01% to 4.05.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 98.91.
